“When Does Life Begin?” Is the Wrong Question

When does life begin? It depends on whether you’re a giant panda or a human being.

The question shouldn’t be about “when life begins,” it should be about the worth we place on that life.

For all species, except human, life begins at conception. If we found a fertilized egg on another planet, we’d call it “life.” On earth, humans must therefore be the least of the living creatures, that’s why this debate happens.

Humans ‘in the eye of humans’ are worth less than any other living creature.

That’s why we need God. We need to see each other as God sees us: worthy.
