Catherine Anne Lewis

Cat Lewis accidentally stumbled into a memoir writers’ workshop and ended up writing her friend Christi’s memoir. They had such a great time crafting the book that they are currently working on a mystery series. Cat also has a few other memoirs on her plate right now, including her father’s memoir, which she is editing and adding in her own stories for one last daddy-daughter dance.

About me: I write because I breathe. I’m not ashamed to say that I love God and I do attempt to follow my late husband’s life philosophy to love people like Jesus and build community wherever I go. It doesn’t always work out as I intend, but I keep to this motto: “Whenever the IDEAL is not realized, the GRACE of God is abundant.”

So, who am I?

I’m a child of God, mom, daughter, sister, and friend. I work between two windows, sleep in a bedroom that looks like a hotel room, and I eat bananas occasionally.

What do I do?

Well, I write. I wrote my first “book” at the age of 8, and I’ve been writing ever since. I also edit. I’m thick into words, but currently branching out into videos.
